The £90m Frenkie de Jong cost might lead Man Utd to offer four players to Barcelona

Express.co reports that Manchester United will have to pay a lot to get Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona in the summer. According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona have requested £90million for the midfielder, but United may give one or two of their players in exchange.

Let’s examine four United players that may be part of a De Jong part-exchange.

Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood was loaned to Getafe for the season because United thought he had no future at Old Trafford. A permanent transfer in the summer would be best for everyone, and Barcelona is reportedly interested in signing him.

In January, it was claimed that the Spanish giants were interested in offering Greenwood Lionel Messi’s No. 10 jersey. Barcelona may be interested in United using Greenwood as a makeweight in a swap deal for De Jong, which may satisfy both teams.
