Michail Antonio claims Manchester United have an 18-year-old who’s ‘years ahead of his game’

According to tbrfootball, Michail Antonio has lauded Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo for playing “years ahead of his game”. On the newest episode of the Footballer’s Football Podcast, the West Ham United forward discussed the Red Devils’ talent.

Mainoo has been a staple in Manchester United’s starting lineup this season, having made his Premier League debut in November. The 18-year-old also scored his first Premier League goal earlier this month, a magnificent solo effort against Wolves that earned the Red Devils a 4-3 victory.

“I believe it has to be Mainoo. “Because of how he plays,” explained the Hammers player. “He’s not under any pressure to change. He does not need to score any goals.”But he has the talent today and is performing years ahead of his time. He’s incredibly composed on the ball.

“Whereas Garnacho and Hojlund they have to keep scoring, they have a harder job.”So Mainoo has less pressure, but he has the quality, so I believe he will continue to shine.Hojlund is under the most pressure because he was brought in.
