Bayern Munich CEO’s stern message to players after Thomas Tuchel’s dismissal

According to bavarianfootballworks, Bayern Munich is changing its head coach once more. So it’s time for the club to set the tone and sell this new era — and the reasons behind it — to both players and fans. Sport Bild caught CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen’s address to the players, via @iMiaSanMia.

“I told the players emphatically that their personal interests must come second to the interests of the club and the team,” Dreesen is said to have remarked. “The most crucial aspect is FC Bayern. The players must now bring the quality that they definitely possess on the game, and they must be affected by the honor.”

His statements paralleled his statement on the upcoming coaching change, in which he urged the players to “achieve the maximum possible in the Champions League and Bundesliga” and warned that he would “hold the team accountable in this regard.”

Thomas Tuchel, who will be in charge of coaching these games, may rest. He cannot be fired a second time, although he may be terminated sooner. However, the players will have to show themselves in the remaining period of the season.
