Rasmus Hojlund discusses his disappointment following Manchester United’s victory against Luton
Rasmus Hojlund was pleased to contribute to another significant Manchester United victory over Luton Town, but he said he was a little let down that they didn’t win by a larger margin, according to the manchestereveningnews story. At Kenilworth Road, United jumped out to an early two goal lead thanks to a masterful brace from Hojlund, before Carlton Morris gave the home team a response.
Both teams would go on to have several more opportunities to win the match, including one from Hojlund, whose close-range attempt in the second half was foiled by Thomas Kaminski. After around the Luton ‘keeper, Bruno Fernandes had a chance to score, but Albert Sambi Lokonga stopped his attempt. Alejandro Garnacho also squandered a fantastic one-on-one opportunity with Kaminski.

Although United managed to secure three more points, Hojlund has cautioned that they must not allow themselves to lose again if they hope to finish the season well.
“Three points is the most important. I am there to help the team, so I am happy,” he told BBC’s Match of the Day. “We are switching off a little bit. We know with this crowd and also the team, they are in a good run of form. We made it hard for ourselves today.
“I was rubbing my hands a lot of times because I was quite nervous. I’m grateful for the win, though, but a little bit lucky. “I had a chance myself that I needed to put in the back of the net. Of course, we need to score those. But I am sure that next week we will bounce back and show Old Trafford what we are made of.”
