PSG hopes to raise £112 million to replace Kylian Mbappe with Chelsea target

Kylian Mbappe has chosen to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the conclusion of the current campaign, according to a report from caughtoffside. Chelsea’s top summer target is on the Ligue 1 champions’ list of players to replace the superstar.

The French star has been the centre of attention in Paris in recent seasons, and the team was anxious to retain onto the 25-year-old. But Mbappe’s departure at the end of the season was revealed on Thursday, and PSG will have a difficult time finding a replacement for the attacker.

Victor Osimhen and other celebrities are reportedly being lined up to replace Mbappe, which might be detrimental to Chelsea, according to Jason Burt of the Daily Telegraph. Before the 2024–2025 season, Mauricio Pochettino is in severe need of a striker, and Chelsea’s main target is Osimhen of Napoli.
