Manchester United suffer Rasmus Hojlund blow as striker takes up injury
According to Mirror.co, Manchester United will entertain Fulham this weekend without one of their key players following a strong run of victories to reclaim Champions League contention. Rasmus Hojlund has been in excellent form recently, scoring in all five league games. United remain outside the top four, but Aston Villa, whom Erik ten Hag’s team has defeated both home and away, are within reach.
However, if they want to win the league for the sixth time in a row, they will have to do so without the Dane. Hojlund will miss the game due to injury, and it is unlikely to be his only absence. We have the latest on Hojlund, as well as a change in the coaching staff at Old Trafford and some optimism about a potential successor to Cristiano Ronaldo. Here are the most recent quotes from Mirror Football on Manchester United.

The extent of Hojlund’s absence has been verified.
Rasmus Hojlund will not simply miss Saturday’s match against Fulham. The Manchester United striker will also miss the Manchester Derby the following week, as well as an FA Cup match against Nottingham Forest in the meanwhile. The former Atalanta star might return to face Everton on March 9. This is not fixed in stone, however, as United will monitor his development following a muscle issue.
“It’s a minor injury, two to three weeks,” United manager Erik ten Hag explained. “That’s what occurred; that’s the risk of playing at high effort during training. It’s not a major injury, but he’ll have to wait two to three weeks.
