Italian international winger to replace Mo. Salah at Anfield

According to teamtalk, Liverpool appear to have already chosen their ideal replacement for the Egyptian in their attack this summer. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a deal to recruit long-term goal Federico Chiesa will cost far less than expected.

That is because the 26-year-old, who can play on either wing or as a No. 10, is out of contract next summer and has stated that he is unlikely to prolong his stay with Juventus.

With that in mind, the report claims FSG has already contacted the player’s agents to explore a possible ‘dream’ transfer to Merseyside for the 44-times capped Italian winger. Chiesa, while not as productive as Salah, has eight goals and one assist in 19 games this season.

And FSG think that adding Chiesa to an assault that already includes Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, as well as rising young players like Jayden Danns and Lewis Koumas, would be enough to entice any new manager.
