Manchester United clear to finally seal a £34-£42 million signing
According to thefaithfulmufc, Manchester United were connected with numerous players during the winter transfer window, including Donyell Malen, but FFP worries stopped them from adding to the roster. If media claims are to be believed, Manchester United are apparently set to finally sign the Dutch international during the summer transfer window.
Last month, United were planning an offer to Dortmund to entice the playmaker, who was valued at roughly 30 million euros and expressed a desire to come to Old Trafford. After continuous performances, BvB has upped his price tag and is willing to settle on a cost of roughly £34 million to £42 million (40-50 million euros).

According to today’s Bild (news image supplied below), Dortmund’s financial future is dependent on Malen. The player’s regular top performances are making him ‘increasingly desirable’ on the European market, and he will be permitted to depart Signal Iduna Park for a fee ranging from £34 million to £42 million this summer.
According to Bild, Manchester United and Liverpool have expressed significant interest in signing him and may try to do so in the next transfer window. Malen has personally contributed six goals in the previous five Bundesliga games, and he also scored in the 1-1 Champions League match with former club PSV Eindhoven.
Overall this season, the 25-year-old has scored twelve goals and given four assists in 23 starts across all competitions.
