Juventus set a price target for Liverpool-linked talent and begin preliminary Ferguson discussions

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus recently talked with Italian intermediaries over Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson, although the Old Lady will consider bids for Matias Soulé and Federico Chiesa in the summer.

The Biaconeri are preparing to enhance their roster for the 2024-25 season, when they expect to play Champions League football. However, a report published on Tuesday by La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the Serie A heavyweights must sell some of their players in order to balance the books and increase their transfer budget.

According to the pink daily, Juventus would consider bids for both Chiesa and Soulé, who is presently on loan at Frosinone and has scored 10 goals this season. Their future at the Allianz Stadium is dependent on the offers Juventus receives.

Chiesa’s contract expires in June 2025, and while Juventus want to extend it until 2026, an offer of at least €40 million would likely persuade the Bianconeri to sell the 26-year-old, who has been linked with a transfer to Liverpool. Chiesa’s agent recently spoke with the Bianconeri and was at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday to see their 3-2 triumph over Frosinone.
